Something new

I just read Monster's posts.
At each entry, I could almost see the curvy smile and hear the slightly coarse laughter.
At some point in life, there are some people who share the same path, yet, not for long even with accelerator released.

During the TW trip, I just found it odd to smile for the camera.
To pacify the cameraman, I imagine putting toothpicks at the corners of my lips.
I couldn't help but wonder, " When can I smile genuinely, again?"

Out of the blue, I met up with 2 friends whom I haven't seen for 5 years.
80% of the time, I couldn't stop myself from laughing till my voice went coarse and my cheek turned numb.
It was one of those rare occasions whereby I wasn't disappointed, as my friends still remain the way I know them.
Some things are best preserved the way they are.
